Terms
Draft for the owner's review. Last updated 23 October 2026.
By creating a StayPuller account you agree to these terms.
- The service: StayPuller provides sign-in, device sync and connections for your Storage Pod. It is provided as is, without a promise that it will always be available or error free.
- Your content: your documents stay yours and stay in your GitHub repository. You are responsible for what you store and for backing it up.
- Your account: keep your password private and tell us if you think your account was misused. You may delete your account at any time.
- Acceptable use: you may not use StayPuller, or store, share, send or request through it, anything that is illegal or helps someone else do something illegal, or that is illicit or harmful. That includes: child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors; content that promotes, plans or celebrates violence, terrorism or self-harm; threats, harassment, stalking, hate or doxxing; fraud, scams, phishing, counterfeits, stolen data, stolen or leaked credentials or other people's private information; malware, hacking tools used against others, or attempts to break into, overload or disrupt StayPuller or anyone else's systems or accounts; content you have no right to store or share, such as pirated material, or anything that infringes someone's copyright, trademark or privacy; trafficking, or selling illegal goods, drugs or weapons; non-consensual intimate images; spam or unwanted messages, including through sharing and upload requests; impersonating a person or organisation or giving a false identity; sharing an account to avoid a limit or a suspension; and using StayPuller in a way that breaks the terms of GitHub, Google, Dropbox or any other service you connect. Don't use Ask on the web or any connected assistant to do any of these things.
- Suspension and ending your account: if we believe these terms or the law are being broken, if a court, regulator or law enforcement agency requires it, if there is a security risk or a payment dispute, or if you ask us to, we may suspend or end your account, with or without notice where the law or the risk requires it. Suspending an account signs you out everywhere, turns off syncing, ends assistant access and share, scan and upload links, and disconnects the services and storage connections StayPuller holds for you. Your files stay where you keep them: we don't delete them from your own storage. A suspended account can sign in only to see that it is suspended and to contact Support, where you can explain why the suspension should be lifted; we will review what you send, and we don't have to restore an account. If it is restored, you will need to reconnect your storage and services yourself. We may report illegal content or activity to the authorities and keep what the law requires us to keep.
- Sharing: you may share only files you have the right to share, and only with people who should have them. We email the people you share with, so don't use sharing to send unwanted messages. A person you share with can ask us to stop your shares to them. Stopping a share removes it from their Shared Pod, but cannot take back a copy they already downloaded or saved. The free plan shares up to 10 files at a time; paid plans have no limit.
- Ask on the web: answers are written by an AI model and can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important against the document itself, which each answer links to. Don't rely on Ask for legal, medical, tax or financial decisions. Searching your files is free; Plus and Pro include a monthly allowance of Ask credits for when Ask does the work of answering, shown as a percentage. After the allowance is used you can use a few more credits, then Ask pauses until the next month, or you can move up to Pro. We may change the allowance with notice.
- Plans and payments: StayPuller is free for sharing up to 10 files at a time. StayPuller Plus is a subscription that removes that limit and adds Ask on the web, and StayPuller Pro adds more questions; the price is shown before you pay and billed through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renews until you cancel. Cancel any time on the Billing page: you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing you've shared is removed when it ends (you just can't add new files over the free limit). Taxes are added where they apply. Ask us about a refund within 14 days of a charge and we'll look at it fairly.
- Third parties: GitHub, Google and others have their own terms, which apply to your use of those services.
- Limits: to the extent the law allows, StayPuller is not liable for lost data or indirect damages. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
- Changes: we may update these terms and will say so on this page.
